Swift's new single from her upcoming album, Red, smashed sales records earlier this week by becoming the second-largest download ever. The tune reached No. 1 at iTunes in 32 countries.

Tonight's debut marks the one-week countdown until the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards. Tune in for the award show Thursday, September 6 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Red is expected to drop October 22.
