Taylor Swift's 23rd birthday might be her most memorable ever. Not only did she snag a Golden Globe nomination for co-writing Safe and Sound for The Hunger Games, but the music video for her second single off Red, I Knew You Were Trouble, just premiered and it is epic.
Which is exactly what Taylor was going for with the Reeve Carney co-starring spot. "The song sounds different than anything I've ever done before," she told MTV News, "So I thought, 'Why not make this video unlike anything I've ever done before?'"
In it, she plays one half of a toxic couple. Emphasis on "plays" -- "I knew I wanted to play a character, I wanted it to be an acting piece," Taylor says of the video, which opens with a prolonged vignette introducing the world and the woman she brings to life in it. Click here to watch!
