It wasn't long ago Fall Out Boy ruled the radio, and after a three-year hiatus, they haven't wasted anytime getting the ball rolling again.

The band announced via their website on Monday, February 4 a new single, My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up), accompanied with a video inexplicably starring the Grammy-nominated rapper 2 Chainz, who does not appear to be featured on the track. The song is available for purchase on iTunes, and will be the first single on the band's upcoming album, Save Rock and Roll, which drops worldwide on May 6 and 7, the 10th anniversary of Fall Out Boy's first release, Take This To Your Grave.

The announcement included a statement from the band, dispelling rumors that they had ever broken up, stating "this isn't a reunion because we never broke up. We needed to plug back in and make some music that matters to us."

Over the hiatus, Patrick Stump released a solo album, Soul Punk, Pete Wentz divorced wife Ashlee Simpson and made music with electronic dance band Black Cards, and Joe Trohman and Andy Hurley teamed up with members of Every Time I Die and Anthrax to form a hard rock super-group, The Damned Things.

After releasing Believers Never Die, the cryptic title of the band's greatest hits album, which became a rallying cry for fans hoping to see the band back together again, it seems the quartet is finally ready to keep good on their word.

The album's accompanying tour kicks off with several performances worldwide, including already sold out shows in New York, Los Angeles and the band's hometown of Chicago, followed by a national tour starting in May. The dates are listed below.
