Go Inside Swedish House Mafia's Last Tour
ETonline is taking you inside Swedish House Mafia's final tour -- Masquerade Motel.
It's the first of two nights in LA and you can feel the heat and the energy from the crowd despite the rainy weather. As Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello take the stage, the bass kicks in, vibrating from the 10-foot-speakers on the stage. I'm standing in the middle of the pit in a crowd of over 30,000 people ready to get the best view and experience from the front of the stadium. The stage is enormous and since technology plays a big part in live electronic music concerts, Swedish House Mafia really takes it to another level. The whole stage is literally a giant television with huge screens that give the fans an animated experience with crazy graphics and effects giving lots of depth of view to the performance. It’s amazing to see the city full of light in the background and an audience of thousands dancing to every beat.
From performing the hits we love like Greyhound, during the opening number, Miami to Ibiza, where they get the whole crowd singing, to Save the World, the big encore , and of course the Grammy-nominated track Don't Worry Child, SHM takes over Los Angeles. With fire bursting from the stage, and nonstop fireworks in the finale, they really pull out all the stops in their final two performances in L.A. making it an epic weekend we won’t soon forget.
