New Britney Music Confirmed!

It's been nearly two years since Britney Spears released a new single (sorry, Scream & Shout doesn't count since I remain unconvinced that British voice is actually hers), so today is cause for celebration as it's been announced that Miss. Brit has recorded a song for the upcoming Smurf 2 soundtrack!

"I have always loved the Smurfs as a kid and now my boys are the biggest Smurfs fans ever," Britney said in a statement. "I wanted to surprise them with a song in the movie. I know they'll think it's Smurftastic!"

The track, titled Ooh La La, will play at the end credits of the film and was written by Dr. Luke and Bonnie McKee, among others.
