Teen pop sensation Austin Mahone recently debuted his new single What About Love on the radio and only ET was behind the scenes of his visit to New York's Z100 studios for a special performance and interview!
Appearing on Z100's Elvis Duran and the Morning Show, Mahone talked about being chosen to tour with Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran on their current "Red" tour. "I was blank for about five minutes," he told Duran about getting the news over the phone. "I didn't know what to say, it was amazing."
Z100 debuted What About Love
on the air and also hosted a live chat and special performance with Austin for a group of fans at the iHeartRadio
Theater presented by P.C. Richard & Son in New York.
The 17-year-old singer -- who is often compared to pop star Justin Bieber -- spoke about hearing his new song hit the airwaves for the very first time. "It's so weird, because I put so much time and hard work into it, and it's just amazing to hear it actually on the radio so that everybody can hear it."
