Why One Direction Doesn't Dance

One Direction's good looks, sound and swagger are comparable to any other past and present boy band, but they're missing one thing. Where are the dance moves?! Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson are ready to explain.

"We just kind of came out and said, 'We can't dance. We're a bit lazy. We're just normal lads," Liam, 19, admitted. When asked by Glamour magazine if the lack of dancing is because they can't or won't, he added, "A bit of both, actually. We look stupid dancing. That’s what I think."

Zayn, 20, agrees, saying, "We didn't want to just follow the boy band formula. We didn't want to do any dancing. We just wanted to be five dudes in a band."

Meanwhile, Styles, 19, was also quick to admit the band's imperfections. "The thing is, when you're playing a part, eventually it goes wrong," he told Glamour, on newsstands July 9. "Eventually someone's going to see that that’s not who you are. So it's best to be yourself from the get-go."
