Jay-Z Celebrates 'Magna Carta' Release

Jay-Z celebrated the release of the highly anticipated Magna Carta Holy Grail album on July 3 in Brooklyn, where he was surrounded by family and celeb friends Timbaland, Nick Cannon, Tyson Beckford and more, and of course, his wife Beyonce.

On July 4th the album was released exclusively to Samsung Galaxy owners who downloaded the customized JAY Z Magna Carta App.

"It had to be -- the way we made it. It was too special," producer Timbaland said about the album's unconventional release. "It can't be just delivered regular."

About working on such a high-profile album, Timbaland downplayed it as "two brothers getting back together."

"That's like my brother," he smiled. "It's like two brothers getting back together -- 'Let's do it.' That's all."
