Jonas Brothers Scratch Tour Due to Clash

A clash amongst the Jonas Brothers has led to the cancellation of their upcoming tour.

According to People, an argument between the three brothers in the band—Kevin, Joe, and Nick—over the direction of the band and its music caused them to call off the tour.

"There is a deep rift within the band," People quotes Jonas Brothers' spokesman Jesse Derris. "There was a big a disagreement over their music direction."

The band, which was assembled in 2005, originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel, releasing its debut album, It's About Time, in 2006.

The Jonas Brothers' past two albums have peaked at No. 1 on U.S. charts, and the band was recently working on its fifth studio album, entitled V.

Although the band released new music in the form of the singles "Pom Pom" and "First Time" this year, their rep said that the fate of their future together "remains to be seen."
