"In all the years I've been touring and all the miles we've driven,
nothing prepares you for something like this to happen. I'm praying for
Albert Kennedy's family and friends today and ask that you do the same,"
he added.

A police report obtained by ABC Newssaid that Kennedy -- who lived in Vincennes, IN --was
struck by Aldean's bus after he "walked out into the middle of the roadway" on the northbound lane of US 41 North at around 1:30 a.m. Monday morning. The report noted that the coroner pronounced
the man dead on the scene due to "trauma to the head and chest."
