Despite her and her NHL husband Mike Fisher's hectic schedules, Carrie Underwood tells Redbook magazine, on newsstands Nov. 12, that the secret to their successful marriage is trust.
"If he goes to a bar with his friends, a tabloid is going to report about it. Same goes for me," she discloses. "Trust is what it is. Either you trust someone or you don't. And I've never trusted anyone more than I trust Mike."
She also reveals that she and her hubby are quite the eaters, and that's why she keeps a food journal. "You know how you feel when you get full? Well, I don’t get full. I can eat a lot. Mike and I were in Italy for 10 days and I put on 8 pounds. So in real life, I have to make sure I’m not eating just to eat."
Besides being one of the biggest female stars in country music, Underwood is just like us when it comes to her daily chores. The country crooner even does her own laundry.
"I do not like people touching my underwear," the 30-year-old American Idol alum admits. "That’s just weird! I travel with a washer and dryer and I like cooking on the bus too."
Underwood will be hosting the 47th Annual CMA Awards tonight, airing on ABC.
