Austin Mahone Makes a 'Splash' with Pitbull
For the first time, Austin Mahone performed his new single Mmm Yeah live with Pitbull at PepsiCo's Super Bowl XLVIII celebration in New York City on Wednesday.
The performance prefaces the February 10 launch of Aquafina FlavorSplash's Make a Splash program, in which seven teens will be given the opportunity to experience their creative passions in a professional setting.
"I'm honored to be a part of FlavorSplash," Mahone, 17, said prior to hitting the stage at Bryant Park. "They give me a chance to help them make new flavors -- I get to mix and match different things -- and I get to travel and share my music with new people."
In addition to his fans, Mahone also had friends come out to show support.
"He's been a great friend," said Kylie Jenner, 16. "We're both in the same position, growing up in the limelight, so it's awesome to have a friend like that."
