Watch Lea Michele's big welcome home with her first solo CD signing.
Lea Michele entered new territory on March 4 when she debuted her first solo album, Louder, and the singer/actress gave ET an exclusive look at her hometown CD signing.
The 27-year-old Glee star received a hero's welcome at the Westfield mall in Paramus, New Jersey -- the town she used to call home.
"Today my album came out and it's No. 1 and I'm doing my signing here," Michele, gushed. "It's kind of crazy because I grew up here."
In addition to her album, Michele also has a new book, Brunette Ambition, set to hit stores May 20.
"The book is part memoir, part how-to lifestyle," said Michele. "It's a great story of my life so far."
Michele's life so far has included some major trials, including the loss of boyfriend and Glee co-star Cory Monteith last July. Michele told us that fan support helps her carry on.
"I love this opportunity to meet [the fans] and say, 'Thank you so much,'" said Michele.
