Gwar frontman and founder David Brockie passed away on Sunday.
According to Fox News, the musician was found dead at his Richmond, Va. at 6:53 p.m. He was 50 years old. "Detectives do not suspect foul play at this time,” a police spokesperson said in a statement given to Fox.
This year marks 30 years that the group has been together, and they had recently returned from touring Australia and Japan.
As Fox points out, in 2011, guitarist Cory Smoot was found dead on Gwar's tour bus. He was 34.
