L.P. performs single A Night Like This aboard a plane.

The recently concluded "Live in the Vineyard" arts festival may have had some surprises of its own, but one of the related events had passengers getting treated to a performance by rock artist L.P. aboard an airplane at 35,000 feet!

The performance took place during a recent Southwest Airlines flight from Los Angeles to Denver during which the artist performed her single A Night Like This.

The "Live in the Vineyard" event concluded earlier this month in Napa, CA. The festival -- which is available to sweepstakes winners and special invited guests -- gives attendees access to recording artists, top tier wine makers, and world-renowned chefs during a "once-in-a-lifetime" three-day event.

Among the music performances this year were Sarah McLachlan, Colbie Caillat, O.A.R., Passenger, Hunter Hayes, Mary Lambert, Fitz and The Tantrums, The Alternate Routes, LP, Plumb, Yuna, and more.
