Dolly Parton released her first full-length album at 21-years-old. 47 years later the country crooner is  still going strong and proving why she’s been a staple of country music since her 20’s.

At 68-years-old, Dolly has sold more than 100 million albums over the course of her career, with more than 100 charted singles. Her 42nd studio album, Blue Smoke, is currently riding high on the charts, debuting at number two on Billboard’s Country chart and number six on the all-genre Billboard 200.

So, when ET caught up with the star during her recent New York trip, we had to ask her how it feels to be hotter than ever.

“It's going really good,” she said. “Oh yeah, we're very energized by it."

And, it’s safe to say she doesn't plan on slowing down any time soon.

"The only thing that would stop me would be if my health failed or my husband was sick,” she said. “I'm hoping I can do this all my life."
