Usher – and his dance moves – are returning to MTV.

The Voice coach and two-time Video Music Award winner is set to perform at this year's MTV VMAs. His last performance on the show came back in 2010, when he delivered a heart-pumping mashup of "DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love" and "OMG."

Meanwhile, making their very first appearance on the VMA stage, 5 Seconds of Summer is also among the slated performers. The Australian pop-punk band just released their debut self-titled album featuring the songs "She Looks So Perfect" and "Amnesia"

"Can't wait to play the VMAs this year," 5SOS said in a statement. "It's a huge honor and we always love coming over to the States. We can't wait to play on such a big stage!"

Also giving her very first VMA performance is Ariana Grande, who is gearing up for the release of her sophomore record, My Everything.

After a brief stint in Brooklyn last year, the annual awards show returns to the West Coast on August 24 at The Forum. Additional performers, presenters and a full list of nominees will be revealed in the coming weeks.
