The singer says he's suffering exhaustion and fatigue after an intrusive medical procedure.

The show must go on – without Bobby Brown.

The artist was forced to suddenly exit the New Edition tour after a recent "intrusive medical procedure" has left him suffering from exhaustion and fatigue. The news comes just days after video surfaced of Brown walking off stage mid performance, appearing severely out of breath.

"I apologize to the fans of New Edition. I really wanted to be with my brothers, but presently I am unable to give the fans what they typically expect from New Edition," Brown said in a statement. "When I am 100 percent, I look forward to returning to touring."

The band's debut album, Candy Girl, first hit shelves in 1983. They went on to release seven studio albums, a slew of compilation records and two holiday albums.
