Bow down to Queen Beyonce. (As if you weren't already.)

Bey leads the pack of this year's MTV Video Music Awards nominees, up for eight awards including "Video of the Year," "Best Female" and "Best Choreography." Hot on her heels are Eminem and Iggy Azalea with seven nominations apiece. Beginning today, fans can vote for the winners here.

Among the other standout nominees are Jay Z, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Pharrell Williams, Ariana Grande, Lorde, Sam Smith, Sia, Zedd, Avicii, Pitbull, Jason Derulo and Hayley Williams. See the complete list here.

The always competitive "Video of the Year" category appears closer than ever in 2014. Vying for the night’s top Moonman are Iggy Azalea and Charli XCX for their Clueless-inspired "Fancy"; Jay and Bey with "Drunk in Love"; the pop phenom "Happy" by Pharrell; Sia's mysterious and fascinating "Chandelier"; and Cyrus' record-shattering "Wrecking Ball."

As ETOnline previously reported, Grande, Usher and 5 Seconds of Summer are all slated to perform on the August 24 show. Additional performers and presenters will be announced in the coming weeks.
