Weezer is back – and they’re headed "Back to the Shack" with their latest single.

The band released their first new song since 2010 on Monday and it's just as fun, catchy and nerdy-cool as any of our old favorites. Rivers Cuomo and his cohorts will perform "Back to the Shack" live on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday.

"Back to the Shack" is the lead single off Weezer's forthcoming album, Everything Will Be Alright In The End, out September 30.

"If you took the Pinkerton band and then play all the other records – that's what we sound like now," drummer Pat Wilson said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. "Bombastic, loose, kind of booming. This record sounds like it's going to have the tight structure of Blue Album with a little bit more abandon like Pinkerton."

Diehard fans may have heard "Back to the Shack" back in February when the band debuted it onstage during their Weezer Cruise. The song is now on YouTube and will be available for purchase on iTunes beginning at midnight EDT on Tuesday.
