ET is taking a look at why 5 Seconds of Summer is causing massive teen hysteria. We interview the Australian group, made up of musicians Michael Clifford, Calum Hood, Ashton Irwin and Luke Hemmings, and find out what they think about the craziness and how it all started.
The band was discovered by One Direction's Louis Tomlinson who contacted them after watching one of their YouTube videos. Now 5SOS has a total of 83 million Twitter mentions. Tomlinson also asked them to go on tour with One Direction.
The opportunity to tour with One Direction is giving 5 Seconds of Summer more than their 15 minutes of fame. Their debut album is out with hits like "She Looks So Perfect" and "Don't Stop". "She Looks So Perfect" is nominated for a 2014 MTV VMA nomination.
If you want to see the craze yourself, 5 Seconds of Summer will go on tour in the U.S. with One Direction this year starting on August 4.
