Tough crowd!

The cast of Broadway's The Lion King surprised some New York subway riders with an impromptu performance of "The Circle of Life" but surprisingly many of the riders didn't even look impressed or realize the talented singers!

While the cast weren't in costume they belted out the classic song while riding the A train from the 59th Street subway stop.

The Lion King is the first Broadway musical to bank a billion dollars and worldwide it has earned $5 billion.

This isn't the first time that the show has randomly broke out in song, The Lion King Australia cast back in April surprised passengers on a Virgin plane before taking off from Brisbane and even belted out the same tune.
