The singer-songwriter started out by sharing her new song "Shake It Off" and she danced with her audience to it. She worked with Max Martin and Shellback on this one. The same duo worked with her on "I Knew You Were Trouble" and "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together."

Second, Taylor is releasing her fifth album called 1989, the year in which she was born. While Swift has long straddled the border of country and pop, she noted that 1989 will be her first officially documented pop album. She's been working on this album for two years, and it will be in stores on October 27.
