We knew Adam Levine had a raw, animalistic quality to him.

Nicki Minaj unleashed her "Anaconda" earlier this week, and now Maroon 5 is letting out their "Animals."

Adam Levine and the band debuted the lyric video for their new track on Friday, and from first listen, there are two things that are certain. One, this sounds a lot like all the other Maroon 5 songs, and two, it's sure to be a chart-topper.

Levine sexily croons, "Baby, I'm preying on you tonight, hunt you down, eat you alive / just like animals."
