Cobra Starship is feeling the love with their new single.

The band released their brand new single on Monday and despite what you might draw from its title, "Never Been In Love" is fun-loving pop at its best. Featuring guest vocals from Icona Pop, the song is a bit of a departure from the band's previous hits "Good Girls Go Bad" and "You Make Me Feel..." with a '90s-inspired vibe.

"It's a really positive, exciting song," frontman Gabe Saporta tells ETonline's Sophie Schillaci, promising more new tunes in the new year.

"I had this concept for this record that I really wanted to do, almost like an early '90s throwback -- especially early '90s UK -- when a lot of these rock bands were first experimenting with electronic music and break beats but they still had songs. There were still like, verses, pre-choruses, choruses, bridges," he said. "I find that a lot of electronic music you hear today, sometimes it’s really all about the drop, the beat and one vocal hook. For me, I like long songs, I like a lot of lyrics. I like something you can sing in the shower."

Saporta kept tight lipped about what other collabs we can expect on the new album, but confirmed that there are more on the way. If there's one thing we know about this band, it's that they love a joint effort. Among their previous collaborators is Gossip Girls' Leighton Meester, Travie McCoy, Mac Miller, Sabi and My Name is Kay.

But how well did they get to know each other in the studio? ETonline quizzed Saporta on his musical accomplices. See how he scored in the video above.
