Maroon 5's single "Maps" is already a hit and in just a few days we'll be able to get our hands on their fifth studio full-length, V.
In honor of the new release and Flashback Friday, ET is sending it back to 2004 when we first met the band at the Billboard Music Awards. Adam Levine was just 25 years old at the time and excited about his newfound success.
Back then, they were opening for John Mayer -- now they sell out stadiums, headlining their own shows across the globe.
And about those Grammys Adam mentioned: they won Best New Artist in 2005, as well as Best Pop Performance by a duo or group with vocals in 2006 with "This Love" and again in 2008 for "Makes Me Wonder."
But the band told ET's Rocsi Diaz recently that their new material is their best yet.
"This is the best, I think this is our best album," Levine said. "We're really open. I think it's our best album because we are really open to a lot of different things. And so I think our album is a little more… it's just great. Get it!"
Take a walk down memory lane in the video above and let us know on Twitter: Are you excited for V? Be sure to use the #ETNow.
