Grande explained her side of the story during a Monday interview with Mike E and Emma on 96.1. "It was just a photographer or something who got mad at me because I left to change my outfit mid photo shoot because I didn't like my top," the 21-year-old "Problem" singer said. "I was like, 'Oh, I'll be right back!' and then I came back and he had left.' I was like, 'Oh, s--t!' And then he came out and said all these ridiculous untrue things about me. I was like, 'That's not real. That's nonsense!'"

Insisting that she's a nice girl, she added, "My fans know who I am, my family knows who I am, my friends know who I am, and that's all that matters. No matter what you do, no matter what your profession is, no matter how old you are, everybody deals with haters. We could talk about it for hours...[Gossipers] are also people who don't necessarily know you or understand you. They're also judging an inaccurate depiction of you."

Braun, 33, also came to the pop star's defense, tweeting: "@ArianaGrande is kind, caring, and more than anything she is a great human being. Some people make up rumors for a living....so saying things about Ari comes with her now being a big star. But saying she isn't a good person that ain't gonna fly. Just yesterday she did an impromptu meet and greet for all her fans that almost got her kicked out of her hotel after a 14 hour work day. Why? Because she knows u care so she does too. There is Zero truth to anything different. Enough is enough."

He also sent a tweet defending bad-boy Bieber, writing:

ET recently chatted with Grande, who's rumored to be dating Big Sean, about balancing her work and personal life, and she seemed sweet to us!
