Taylor Swift and Meghan Trainor are ruling the charts these days.
Trainor's "All About that Bass" and Swift's "Shake It Off" have spent the last few weeks volleying between the No.1 and No. 2 spots on both the Billboard Hot 100 and the iTunes singles chart (currently Trainor tops the former and Swift the latter), but that doesn't mean they're not fans of each others' work.
At least Trainor is on Team Swift, as she put her own acoustic spin on "Shake It Off" during a recent visit to 2Day FM's The Dan & Maz Show. Watch the super cute performance in the video below.
This clip further supports ETonline's theory that "Shake It Off" is the "Call Me Maybe" of 2014. The infectious single is already spawning countless covers and viral lip dubs, including one by a group of fraternity brothers and another from an adorable father-daughter duo. Plus, there's this bird...
Before her "Shake It Off" cover blew up online, Trainor busted out the ukulele to perform a new version of her own single for ET's Rocsi Diaz. Go inside the recording session with ET's video below and see the interview here.
Now, who wants to see Swift put her own twist on "All About That Bass"? The ball is in your court, Taylor!
