Taylor Swift previews a third new song off her new 1989 album.

Slowly but surely, snippets of Taylor Swift's highly anticipated new album 1989 are being unveiled.

Just a day after debuting the second song from her album, "Out of the Woods," Swift is offering up her fans a little preview of a third song via her new Diet Coke ad.

Judging from the 30-second clip -- which features a little bit of the chorus that includes the lyrics, "And that's how it works, how you get the girl, girl" -- the song is clearly upbeat, more in the vein of her first 1989 single "Shake It Off" as opposed to the moodier "Out of the Woods." Whether it will be released as a single (or is also about Harry Styles) is not yet known, though the yet-to-be-released song won't be heard anywhere else before the album release date on October 27.

During a live stream in August promoting her new album, Taylor said she was inspired by 80s pop.

"Bright colors, bold chances, rebellion. The idea of that was so inspiring to me -- and the idea of endless possibility was a theme in the last year of my life," she said.

This being Taylor Swift though, besides the new song, the ad also features one of her all-time favorite things.

Kittens.

... Lots and lots of them.

Swifties will recognize a special appearance towards the end of the ad of her own perfect, totally undamaged cat Olivia Benson. Though here's hoping that Olivia is more festive than Taylor's other cat Meredith!

Thankfully, Olivia looks pretty OK with being in a Diet Coke ad.
