Sara Evans is wishing you a Merry Little Christmas.

The country superstar reveals exclusively to ETonline that she has a new Christmas album on the way, and it's all about family.

At Christmas is due out November 17, featuring nine classic tracks and one brand new song. Hear a snippet in the video player above!

"I was very emotional recording this," Evans told ETonline. "I was doing 'Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas' and I started thinking about my kids and when I'm older, or even when I'm gone, how a Christmas album is so important because it's so timeless.

"I was thinking about them having their holiday celebrations and listening to my album and I got so emotional," she continued, adding with a smile: "and also probably because I was exhausted."

The album is truly a family affair for Evans, with her daughters Olivia and Audrey also contributing vocals to "12 Days of Christmas."

"My girls sang on it!" Evans gushed. "It's really, really cute and they did a great job." (ETonline has a sneak preview of that track in the player above, as well.)

Evans worked with producer Mark Bright on the album, which she says sounds "just like my music" with "a lot of electric guitar."

And though she rushed to record the album just last month, Sara believes that At Christmas is actually "some of the best vocals I've ever done because I was so hurried."

Evans is still hard at work promoting her most recent album, Slow Me Down. In addition to touring, the 43-year-old recently filmed a music video for the current single "Put My Heart Down."

Sara will perform at the CMA Country Christmas TV Special on November 17, where she'll sing "Go Tell It On The Mountain." Also performing: Idina Menzel, whose album Holiday Wishes is out now.
