His name is Hov! H to the O-V and he's celebrating his 45th birthday on Thursday.

Worth an estimated $520 million today, Jay Z is one of the greatest selling artists of all time. He's sold over 75 million records and earned 19 Grammy awards.

ET was invited on set of his 2003 music video "Excuse Me Miss," where the 33-year-old rapper was humbled by his success.

"I'm just fortunate to still be accepted," he said. "I mean, this is my seventh album. I'm not a new kid no more, you know what I’m saying? Rollin' like this is just beautiful."

It’s only fitting one of the most powerful artists in the industry would eventually find his queen. Collaborating on nine singles from "Bonnie and Clyde" to "Drunk in Love," Beyoncé and Jay Z tied the knot in 2008 after years of media speculation on the status of their relationship.

"I'm not hiding anything, I just choose not to talk about it," Jay told ET of his relationship in 2004, "When you give so much of your life in the public, you need private things for yourself or you'll just go insane."

The couple welcomed their daughter Blue Ivy Carter in January of 2012, and they recently finished co-headlining the "On The Run" tour.
