Katy Perry must really want to hear a new TLC album.
One day after Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund an all-new TLC album, the "Dark Horse" singer make a sizable contribution to the cause.

Watkins thanked Perry on Twitter Tuesday, writing, "A BIG Special THANK YOU 2 @katyperry for her pledge to our #Kickstarter Campaign! Your awesome!"
According to E!, the 30-year-old "Roar" singer pledged $5,000 to the campaign.
Since Monday, the Kickstarter has already raised over $138,000, just shy of their $150,000 goal, and the campaign still has 28 days to go.

For those who don't want to wait for a new album later this year, TLC is hitting the road with New Kids on the Block and Nelly for The Main Event tour, which kicks off May 1 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Tickets for the tour go on sale Jan. 31.
