Watch This Teacher and His Students Perform an Entire Dance Routine to 'Uptown Funk'

Mr. Pankey makes a dragon want to retire, man.

This is some Will Schuester realness.

A theater teacher, Scot Pankey, choreographed an entire dance routine with his students and performed it through the halls of A. Maceo Smith New Tech High School in Dallas, Texas. The best part? The dance is to Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk,” which you already know is our favorite song of 2014...and 2015.

“This is a great example of how a bunch of technology students let go of their fears, trusted their teacher and got down to Uptown Funk!!!,” the video’s description explains, which also could be the plot of any episode of Glee.

The entire performance was shot in one take by a student who was walking backwards while filming. Which is almost more impressive than these very impressive dance moves. Get it, A. Maceo Smith New Tech High School!

For comparison (or just to watch it again because it’s amazing) here’s a real performance from Ellen:
