The X Factor breakout stars launched their first full-length album Reflection on Tuesday and celebrated in the best way they know how: with 500 lucky Harmonizers at an MTV-hosted bash.

“We love incorporating them in everything we do,” Normani Kordei says of the fans. “We’ve seen a lot of people from the beginning, but it’s nice to see that our fan base is growing.”

ETonline has snagged an exclusive peek inside their NYC performance at Webster Hall on Feb. 2. Watch to see the girls deliver a feisty rendition of “Them Girls Be Like” in the player below.

To mark the occasion, Normani hopped on the phone with ETonline to answer five of our burning questions.

ETonline: I know it must be hard to pick a favorite track, but were there any that gave you girls butterflies in the studio like, ‘This is going to be big’?

Normani Kordei: Our favorites would be ‘Like Mariah,’ ‘Everlasting Love’ and ‘Reflection.’ It’s funny because when we all love a song, it’s like ‘OK, we know this is something special’ because we all have different tastes and grew up in different parts of the world, so we don’t always connect with the same songs. When we all connect, it’s something good. We’ve got five very opinionated people, so sometimes it’s tough for us to make decisions.

Mariah Carey tweeted about ‘Like Mariah’ this week – did you freak out?

Oh my gosh, I freaked out hella hard! Me and Dinah were like, ‘Oh my gosh! That’s all we grew up listening to.’ I remember sitting in front of the TV watching her music videos, listening to ‘We Belong Together.’ It’s such an honor to be recognized by her. We were coming from the airport to the hotel [when we found out].

What’s on the bucket list for 2015?

Definitely to hopefully have our album be very successful in different places. Also to be able to tour around the world as opposed to just the U.S. We’ve been in the United States which is amazing, but it’d be incredible to go abroad. I really want to go to Paris! That’s my dream place.

You opened for Demi Lovato, now you’re headlining your own tour. Did you steal any tips of the trade from Demi?

She gave us a word of advice, it was based on touring. She said, ‘Whenever you’re out on tour, make sure that everybody has a great time. It can get monotonous because you’re doing the same thing every day, so make it fun and make it refreshing.’ We’ve got some surprises in the works, but let’s keep it on the DL.

Your fellow X Factor alum Bea Miller has been named as an MTV Artist to Watch this year. Since you were in MTV’s 2014 class, do you have any words of wisdom for her?

That’s so amazing for Bea! MTV has always been super supportive of us and we love them, so it’s great to see her in that position. I actually have heard some of her new music and I think it’s so awesome that she has such a unique tone and sound. For somebody that’s so young, it’s amazing that she has that sound she has – it’s kind of hardcore.
