Jason Derulo wants his fans to swipe right on him.
Jordin Sparks' ex-boyfriend premiered his sexy new music video "Want to Want Me" on the dating app Tinder and was certain his fans would support the creative manner in which he made the debut. "I wanted to find a new unique way to launch my video," Derulo said in a statement. "I know my fans are tapped into social networking so what better way to launch my video for 'Want To Want Me' than through one of the fastest rising social networking apps, Tinder."
The 25-year-old R&B star added, "I see this app as the wave of the future. I know my fans will swipe right."
The four-minute video is extremely sexual as a shirtless Derulo seduces his sexy, scantily-clad love interest. Is this a way to show Sparks what she's missing? After all, she did take a few swipes at her ex in a remix of Drake's "How Bout Now."
While Tinder is the first dating app to premiere a music video, it's not the first time social media has been used this way. Madonna previously teamed up with Snapchat to launch her new video for "Living on Love."
What do you think of "Want to Want Me"? Would you swipe right?
