Known for their hit single, "Me and My Broken Heart," Rixton is a British Band with global appeal.

This year alone, band members Jake Roche, Charley Bagnall, Danny Wilkin and Lewi Morgan can be seen opening for popular artists like Ariana Grande and Ed Sheeran.

Jake and Danny spoke to ETonline about the pressure to perform as a support act. "We treat every show like it’s our last and give it 110 percent," Jake said.

So before you see them giving it all at a show, here are seven things you should know about Rixton.

1.  Their new album did not come easy.

"Let the Road  took about six years in total from start to finish," Danny said.
Jake added, "We are always writing all the time. It’s not a job to us. It’s something we do to relax and take our stresses off the road."

2.  They sang with Justin Bieber at SXSW in 2014.

"It's a funny story at SXSW actually because we were covering a Justin Timberlake song at the time and obviously because we were singing JT when we heard Justin was singing with us we thought it was Justin Timberlake himself. But it was Bieber, and the crowd just went insane. We'd love to work with Bieber," Jake said.

3.  They all have body ink.

The duo shared that they all have "Me and My Broken Heart" tattoos.

4.  They weren't always called Rixton.

At first the band was called Relics, but Relics was already being used by another band, who got in touch and said they were going to sue. So the band members took measures. "We just made Rixton up. It doesn't have a significant meaning to us. It was just totally off the top of our heads," Jake said.

5.  We've seen the fan photos on Twitter (including these nails of their faces), but what is the craziest fan gift they've received?

One fan sent a wedding booklet that included every one of the guys.

6.  And they too are fans!

If they could collaborate with anyone, they would chose Justin Timberlake and Ryan Tedder too. "We've met Ryan a few times, and he's so talented," Jake said.

As for who they want in their audience, it's Kit Harington from Game of Thrones.

7.  But there's one big misconception out there about them!

They are not a boy band. When they're referred to as one, it actually comes from misreporting from the U.K. So don't compare this group to One Direction! And in case you were wondering, they admitted that they "did not lose sleep" over Zayn leaving One Direction.

Rixton will open for Ariana Grande tonight in Dallas before heading to Oklahoma, Arizona and California next week.
