Sigh... Banjo No More.

It's a whole new Mumford!

Sigh No More,
Mumford & Sons 2009 release is where many of us developed our love for their folky banjo sound, but it appears the band has started off in a new direction for their upcoming album Wilder Mind (we would have called it Banjo No More).

Their newest song, "The Wolf," similar to their first new song "Believe," features no banjo and a slightly harder rock sound. This is something we admittedly had some trouble accepting at first, but we are TRYING.

Here's the video for "The Wolf."

In an interview with Rolling Stone, the band admits that, "None of us had really any interest in doing a sort of Babel 2. It was always going to be different."

Looks like the Mumford boys are really committed to this bold, new direction. As for us -- well, we are doing what we can to accept this, Mumford. It's hard, but we are trying.

Wilder Minds releases on May 4.
