Lady Antebellum's Tour Bus Catches Fire on Interstate

Lady Antebellum
 had quite the scare when a tour bus transporting Hillary Scott, her husband, tour manager and driver blew a tire and caught fire while on their way to Dallas, Tex., ahead of Sunday's Academy of Country Music Awards.

Scott shared the scary story on Instagram, along with a photo of the damaged bus. "Hey guys, we had a crazy morning on the way to Dallas today," she wrote on Thursday. "Our bus tire caught on fire and we had to evacuate very quickly."

Her fellow band members, Dave Haywood and Charles Kelley, were not reported to be on the bus. The group is supposed to appear at the ACM Awards, held at AT&T Stadium (home to the Dallas Cowboys), on Sunday.

Scott was quick to add: "EVERYONE IS SAFE AND SOUND. ...Thanking God for our safety and the safety of all of those who helped put this fire out and keep us safe. Love you all!!!!"

The 29-year-old country crooner's rep told a NBC Dallas news affiliate that this was not Scott's usual bus, but didn't give a reason as to why her other vehicle was unavailable.

According to the news channel, authorities have estimated it will take workers three to four hours to clean up the wreckage.

The 50th annual ACM Awards air this Sunday, April 19, on CBS.
