The Weeknd Is Literally on Fire in 'Can't Feel My Face' Music Video

The R&B singer is red-hot in the brand-new video for his latest hit.

You’ve seen it performed onstage at Taylor Swift’s 1989 World Tour and on the Tonight Show's Lip Sync Battle. Now The Weeknd’s music video for his summer R&B smash "Can’t Feel My Face" is finally here, and appropriately enough, it’s fire.

The video opens on The Weeknd -- real name Abel Tesfaye -- crooning to a club full of patrons who range from disinterested to downright antagonistic. The singer focuses on one girl in the audience, undeterred from his energetic performance, even when the clubgoers hurl their drinks in his direction.

When one particularly ornery audience member flings his lighter at the stage, The Weeknd goes up in flames, continuing his singing and dancing while totally engulfed, Human Torch-style. On the plus side, the fire also ignites the audience, who jump to their feet to dance along.

It’s an impressive video, though the singer may have been upstaged by Tom Cruise, who performed "Can’t Feel My Face" during a Lip Sync Battle with Jimmy Fallon on Monday’s Tonight Show. There’s no bad blood from The Weeknd, though. The singer tweeted his excitement, writing, "that sh*t got me hype...lol I can’t lie."

"Can't believe @TomCruise is singing my song," he tweeted. "@jimmyfallon *** you're the MAN for this one. #tomcruisetomcruise."

Safe to say it’s been a good week for The Weeknd!
