The 2015 MTV Video Music Awards kicked off Sunday at the Microsoft Theater in Downtown Los Angeles, where the always unpredictable Miley Cyrus hosted the star-studded ceremony in expectedly provocative style.
The event drew out all the biggest names in every genre of music, all competing for the golden spaceman -- including Kanye West, Taylor Swift, and Bruno Mars among many others.
In a night full of shade, drama, hatchet burying, name calling, almost-nude costumes, amazing performances and insane acceptance speeches, the most important thing was who came out as winners.
