Last week Nick Carter excited thousands of fans online when he tweeted singer Mel B, asking what she thought about a possible joint tour between the Backstreet Boys and the Spice Girls, which Nick said "could be epic."

ET spoke with Nick after Monday's episode of Dancing With the Stars where he revealed what it would take for the tour to really happen.

As it turns out, it's all up to the fans.

"Just keep tweeting. Trend it if you want it!" Nick said, referring to the #backstreetboysspicegirlstour hashtag he wrote in his tweet to Mel B days ago. "Gotta get it trending!"

Nick went on to say that if the tour does actually happen, the Backstreet Boys are going to need the bigger dressing rooms.

"We're some prima donnas," Nick admitted, laughing.
