Watch Stars Sing Their Favorite Prince Songs to Celebrate the Singer's Birthday

In honor of Prince's birthday, some of Hollywood's hottest stars sang the late icon's lyrics in a video tribute for W magazine.

The GRAMMY winner would have been 58 on Tuesday, but he will forever be remembered through his catalogue of music, which Kit Harington, Ethan Hawke, Cindy Crawford, Chris Evans, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Rami Malek, Elle Fanning, Nate Parker, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Tye Sheridan, Melissa Benoist and Anya Taylor-Joy showcased in a 90-second video.

In the clip, the A-listers read or sing Prince hits such as "Kiss," Little Red Corvette" and "Diamonds and Pearls."

While the celebrities took on some of Prince's more well-known works, Tidal released 15 rare albums by the artist, making them available to subscribers. The massive collection of tracks included unreleased songs and live albums.

Beyond the video tribute and album releases, fans in Minnesota celebrated The Purple One on what Governor Mark Dayton declared "Prince Day." Minnesotans were encouraged to wear purple in honor of Prince's legacy.

The legendary singer died on April 21 at his Paisley Park estate in Chanhassen, Minnesota, from "self-administered" fentanyl toxicity.
