Our modern day queen of heartbreak, Adele, recently shared her fundamental breakup playlist with People, but surprisingly left her entire discography off the list.

It seems the singer is instead inspired by singers like Bonnie Raitt and Etta James when she composes her famous heartbreaking ballads -- not that she'll be experiencing heartbreak anytime soon. The 28-year-old singer has been with partner Simon Konecki since 2011 -- she's since described their relationship as the "ultimate love story" -- and the couple shares 3-year-old son Angelo.

"I mope around for a little while," Adele said of her past breakup routines. "I do embrace the fact that I'm heartbroken. I don't move on quickly. I don't know if that's because it seems that I'm only really creative when I'm a bit momentarily depressed."

We feel you, girl. We've all been there, and you've definitely been there for us.
