Celine Dion paid tribute to her late husband Rene Angelil by releasing a new song.

The 48-year-old singer debuted "Recovering" on Thursday, which was written by Pink. The emotional lyrics talk about putting your life back together after going through a difficult time. "Little by little, day by day/ One step at a time," Dion sings. "Shake off the devil/ Take back my piece of mind/ I am recovering."

When ET spoke to Dion back in July about the song, she told her fans to "get ready."

"[Pink] is phenomenal. I love her for her talent, for her strength, for her focus, the person she is," she gushed over the 37-year-old singer. "At the [Billboard Music Awards] when I saw her, I said, 'For you to take the time to really write a song, to give me a tool, a piece of luggage to help me to move forward to walk to keep going…'"

"Recovering" is the first single off Dion's upcoming album. She has not released an English-language album since 2013's Loved Me Back to Life, which featured Sia -- who she recently impersonated on The Tonight Show -- and Ne-Yo.

As far as performances go, Dion is set to sing at Friday's Stand Up to Cancer live TV event and on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Monday.

Angélil, who was also Dion's manager, died of throat cancer in January. He was 73.
