Miley Cyrus Shares Snippet of New Song About Liam Hemsworth Following Couple's Cute Date Night
Fans won't have to wait much longer to hear Miley Cyrus' new music.
The 24-year-singer announced via social media on Wednesday that she'll be giving her first televised performance of her song, "Malibu," at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday, May 21. Ahead of the track being released tomorrow, Cyrus also shared a snippet of "Malibu," which she recently revealed is about her longtime fiance, Liam Hemsworth.

The couple was recently spotted on a date, looking quite stylish as they attended the sold-out concert of their friend Wayne Coyne's band, The Flaming Lips, at Los Angeles' Ace Hotel on Tuesday night. Cyrus wore her hair in pigtails as she stepped out wearing high-waisted jeans with a tucked-in white T-shirt, a small scarf around her neck, black boots and an oversized denim jacket. As for Hemsworth, the 27-year-old actor sported a plaid shirt, cuffed jeans and Converse shoes.
ET recently sat down with Cyrus' father, Billy Ray Cyrus, who gushed over his daughter's new music. "I'm so excited about this album. Miley really leaned into her roots with this new album, 'Malibu' in particular," he said. "If you really want to know Miley, this record is a great place to start. I think that's the real her, I really do."
