Lovato and Gomez met when they starred on Barney & Friends as children. Their careers took off, with both eventually ending up on the Disney Channel and with their respective shows. The two even starred together in the Disney Channel original movie, Princess Protection Program.

The former besties then had a bit of a falling out, and in 2014, Lovato unfollowed Gomez on social media. That same year, she addressed their friendship, telling Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live, "I think it's just one of those things where people change and people grow apart."

Luckily for both of their fans, the two reunited in 2015, sharing a selfie of their reunion on Instagram. "Friends for years," the "Cool for the Summer" singer wrote.
