ET goes behind the scenes of the "People's Choice Awards" with Queen Latifah, who is hosting the show for the third time and is nominated in the Favorite Leading Lady category, along with Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson.

Queen Latifah let ET's Kevin Frazier in on some of the surprises in store for fans at this year's show.

"I think you're going to see a couple of surprises," she says. "I think one of the main ones has a lot to do with 'The Dark Knight.' Plus, we've got some really cool performances."

We also catch up with Carrie Underwood, who will be performing when the show airs on Wednesday, January 7 at 9 p.m. on CBS. Carrie is also a nominee, but in two categories: Favorite Female Singer and Favorite Country Song ("Last Name").
