On the same day that Charlie Sheen filed for divorce, his estranged wife Brooke Mueller also filed for divorce.

Mueller cites irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split and lists the couple's date of separation as December 25, the day that Sheen was arrested on domestic violence charges related to an argument with Mueller.

She is seeking physical custody of the children, but asks for joint legal custody of their twin toddlers -- Bob and Max. She asks that Sheen pay for attorneys fees and pay spousal support. The divorce filing comes just days after Sheen was found with an adult film star in a New York City hotel room that he allegedly trashed, and was taken to the hospital for what his rep called "an allergic reaction."

The estranged couple was married back in May 2008.
