Kendall Jenner is the newest member of the Jenner/Kardashian clan to step up to the spotlight, celebrating her 15th birthday in style Wednesday night with a Sony PlayStation SingStar Dance party at the Kardashian compound in Los Angeles. Is she ready for her own reality show? Will the paparazzi be on her tail next?
"They've, in the last three years, really grown up in the public eye and that can be really tough," said dad Bruce Jenner of Kendall and younger sister Kylie. "But I have been nothing but extremely proud of them … because it's not easy to do, and it can kind of get to your head."
Kendall and 13-year-old sis Kylie recently walked the red carpet for the premiere of 'Burlesque' with big sis Khloe Kardashian and seemed quite comfortable with the attention. And Wednesday night's birthday bash kept in perfect Kardashian style with a giant Colossal CRUMB cupcake from CRUMBS bake shop and a fun cross-promotion with Sony PlayStation, which is celebrating its 15th anniversary.
"This was the perfect way to celebrate my birthday and Sony PlayStation's birthday, because it was each of our 15th birthdays," said Kendall about Wednesday night's party. "It was just like a coincidence that it was both of our birthdays. … The big one-five!"
Of the SingStar Dance interactive video game on PlayStation Move, Kris Kardashian said, "It's the kind of thing where you get so competitive and you get so into it that you don't want to give it up to the next person that's playing."
In addition to mom and dad and siter Kylie, Kendall was joined by brother Robert Kardashian and some of her new friends from cheer squad.
"I'm on my cheer squad for school and I'm having so much fun with it. I've gotten to know so many new girls," said Kendall. "It really brought me out. I used to be this little shy person that didn't like to talk. … Cheerleading really got me out there and [helped me get rid of] my fear of being shy."
