Keith Urban opened up about the love he shares with his wife Nicole Kidman, and how she stuck with him while he dealt with his addiction to alcohol.
"She should've just walked. ... I'm just so glad she didn't," Keith told Oprah Winfrey of his wife. The country crooner said Kidman organized an intervention that was so filled with love that he wanted to enter rehab immediately. "I was like 'put the cuffs on. Let's go,'" Urban recalled.
The singer wrote a love letter to his wife and placed it in his new album Get Closer. In the note, Urban gushes over Kidman saying he was "brought to his knees by this love" and that he wants to "be a better man" for her. "No one will ever love you as much as I do," the note reads.
Urban admitted that he was "a little bit intimidated" by his Oscar-winning wife when they first met in a greenroom. He said that when they started talking "it just clicked." Kidman said they "met at a time in our life when we were ready for it."
She said of her loving relationship with Urban, "Marriage is about everyday trying to make it better." Urban's new album is available wherever music is sold, while Kidman's new movie 'Rabbit Hole' opens in limited theaters Dec. 17.
